Julie Konz - Grade 3

Mrs. Julie Konz, our third grade teacher, is glad God has called her to St. John Lutheran. She enjoys the enthusiasm of the third graders while they discover their God-given abilities and use them to praise Him.

Julie is a Plymouth native, graduating from Plymouth High School. She attended Silver Lake College, receiving a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics. Julie has since completed her Colloquy and is currently enrolled at Concordia University - Mequon pursuing a Master's degree as a Reading Specialist.

Julie has used her God-given abilities as a teacher at Fox Valley Technical College in the areas of Alternative Education and Adult Education. She also taught at St. Paul Lutheran School in Sheboygan in grades four, six, and eight. She came to St. John in 2003 as a middle school Language Arts and Math teacher. She became our third grade teacher in 2004.

Julie values the Christian environment and academic excellence at St. John Lutheran School, which prompted her to send her children to the school before she was teaching here. She is honored to be a part of the wonderful faculty and staff that is a shining example of God's love.

Julie?s summers are filled with family camping excursions, her husband's car races, and her daughter?s horse shows. In her 'free time' she enjoys reading and shopping.
