Rebecca Truettschel - Grade 1
Becky was born and raised right here in Plymouth. She has lived here with her parents all her life. Becky is an example of the great students that St. John's prepares for the future. She began her schooling right here at St. John's Lutheran School in kindergarten and followed all the way through eighth grade. After St. John's, Becky went on to high school at Plymouth High School where she found her calling to become an early childhood teacher as she volunteered in the kindergarten classroom at St. John's her senior year in high school. After Becky graduated from high school she attended college at Concordia University Wisconsin studying Lutheran early childhood education with a concentration in administration. The summer of 2004 Becky married Adam Truttschel on August 7th, here at St. John's. Becky and Adam reside in Howards Grove, WI. Becky graduated from college in December of 2004 with a degree in Lutheran early childhood education. After a semester of being a teacher's aid at Immanuel Lutheran School in Sheboygan, Becky was offered the first grade teaching position here at St. John's. Becky loves the students and families that she touches each day. She feels extremely blessed to be back among family and friends doing what she loves to do. Personal Teaching Philosophy: To teach is to guide, enlighten, introduce, and build upon the knowledge students need to strengthen their lives with God and the world around them. | Back to Staff | Home | |
